Every care ritual at LuxoraBag is built upon three foundational acts — each as essential as the last.
I.
Deep Cleaning
Removing surface dust, oils, and environmental residue with pH-neutral solutions and artisan-grade cloths. Never harsh; always deliberate.
II.
Conditioning
Replenishing natural oils lost to time and use. A quality leather conditioner, applied with patience, breathes new life into aged or parched skins.
III.
Storage Mastery
Where a bag rests matters as much as how it is used. Dust bags, acid-free tissue, and a climate-controlled environment are the final guardians.
The Ritual
Your Monthly Care Sequence
Empty & Inspect
Remove all contents. Inspect the lining, seams, hardware, and exterior in good light. Note any areas requiring special attention.
Dust & Wipe
Using a clean, dry microfibre cloth, gently wipe the entire exterior. For structured bags, use a soft brush along piping and seams.
Spot Clean
Apply a small amount of leather cleaner to a cloth — never directly to the bag. Work in gentle circular motions on any marks or stains.
Condition the Leather
Warm a pea-sized amount of conditioner between your fingertips. Apply in long, even strokes following the leather's grain. Allow to absorb for 15 minutes.
Buff & Store
Buff gently to restore lustre. Stuff with acid-free tissue, place inside its dust bag, and store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct light.

Every Skin Has Its Language
Different leathers and materials demand different approaches. Our specialists have crafted guidelines for each of the precious materials found in our collection.
- Full-Grain Calfskin — Monthly conditioning, immediate moisture wicking
- Crocodile & Exotic Skins — Specialist care only, high humidity storage
- Patent Leather — Microfibre only, avoid heat sources
- Suede & Nubuck — Protective spray, suede brush, no liquids
- Canvas & Coated Fabric — Damp cloth, no conditioner, shape retention
